It was raining when we left Sydney, but it eased off as we headed south. We had morning tea at Mittagong and lunch at Yass - both quite attractive towns, especially they've reclaimed their main streets now that the heavy highway traffic stays on the freeway.
We had time for a look around Wagga Wagga before heading out for dinner. We were impressed by the sandy beach on the Murrumbidgee. The motel recommended an Indian restaurant, which was very satisfactory.
