We had lunch at the Malvern Hotel on a recent public holiday. The atmosphere is nice and they've offered reliable dining for years, and this tradition continues. All our dishes were good. We only had minor quibbles. They forget our sides, but when we drew their attention to this and cancelled the order, they were quick to provide complimentary coffees. The prices are fair, except we were a little surprised when the grilled veal chop on special turned out to be $40, nearly up there with the steaks in price. And there are no bargains on the wine list either.
