Why bother going to France when you can have an excellent gratin in a very Parisian atmosphere just a few minutes walk away?We had a casual week-day lunch at Rouge (in Beatty Avenue), complete with a glass of Rhone red. And they don't mind speaking English!
And at Paris Rendezvous in High Street, you can buy all sorts of French trinkets.
All the same, we haven't cancelled our forthcoming stay in Paris (anyway, we've already paid for it!).
